 Step 1: Create a marketing campaign - Create a Keyword

Each CelluText customer would create their own unique “Keyword” – for example Zepps Pizza could have “Zpizza,” American Bar & Grill would have “ABAG,” and so on. Choose the keyword that best matches your marketing idea or business name. This word will be your customers' key to joining the campaign.
 

 Step 2: Build Database - Clients subscribe to your Keyword Group

Entice Customers to Opt-In to your Keyword Group by telling them that they will receive regular discounts and special deals from you via text messages. To opt-in a customer needs to simply send a standard Text Message with your keyword to “Short Code” 41513, thus giving their permission to receive messages from you. The opt-in messages sent by your customers are collected in a group that you create and name at your discretion. You have full control to edit, manage, view status, or delete your contacts.

A Word about Short Codes
Text message marketing utilizes short codes. These are similar to 800 numbers but work in conjunction with text messaging. A short code enables two-way messaging between the sender and recipient. The CelluText short code is 41513 and is supported by all major carriers (over 97% of all cell phones in the USA).
 
 

 

 

You can easily include an invitation for customers to Opt-in using your existing advertisements. In existing marketing such as Clipper, Newspaper, BarFly, or others, as well as using in-house promotion such as table tents, signage, register receipts and more, you would promote “Text (your keyword) to 41513 to receive special discounts, VIP offers and announcements from (your business).”

 Step 3: You send messages to your Opted–In Database

At anytime you can now conduct a text message blast of offers, promotions and information directly to the customers who have opted-in to receive your messages. Just log into the Cellutext website (we'll provide your username and password), and send a text message to the entire or selected groups within you opted-in database. You can schedule your messages in advance or send them out immediately.

  

For example, if you are Boston’s Shoe Store and you want reach your customers quickly announcing the arrival of your new shipment; you can schedule a text to go out immediately.
